Meet Nicole Moore, LMFT

Nicole Moore is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a specialty in addictions. Since 2010, she has worked extensively with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families, addressing a wide range of mental health and behavioral concerns. Her areas of expertise include anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem, adjusting to life with a chronic health condition, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, anger management, mood disorders, adjustment difficulties, adoption and foster care placements, attachment concerns, and blended family challenges.

Clients often comment on Nicole’s deep compassion, empathy, warmth and humor that she utilizes within her therapeutic approach. She believes that through therapy every person can come full circle in reaching their goals of change as individuals, couples and as a collective family. Nicole strives to help each teen and adult gain the tools needed to build emotional connections within their relationships. In a comfortable and supportive atmosphere, Nicole looks at the many different facets of daily life (i.e. family structure, school, work, activities, etc.) in order to create a highly tailored approach for each individual and family. 

Nicole holds a masters degree in Marriage, Couples, and Family Therapy from the COAMFTE nationally accredited program at Lewis & Clark College. Her advanced training includes family system theories, Structural Family Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy.  

Nicole is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners and with the Oregon Board of Licensed Professional Counselors and Therapists.  She is also a member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (AAMFT). Outside of her clinical work, Nicole relishes quality time with her family, outdoor pursuits, and embarking on new adventures.
